BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall

This year's BBC Proms are part of the Cultural Olympiad 2012, a four-year programme of cultural events leading up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

On the opening day of the Olympic Games (27 July), Daniel Barenboim will lead the West Eastern Divan Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Royal Albert Hall.
